Uni-logistics to move HQ into Vastint’s offices in Gdynia

The workspace lease of the entire 8th floor on President's Quay is one of the largest office deals in Gdynia in recent months. Uni-logistics' new headquarters will occupy 1,115 m2 in the first phase of the Waterfront mixed-use development, owned and managed by Vastint. Colliers advised the tenant on the transaction.

Waterfront is a mixed-use quarter in the seaside part of Gdynia. Vastint's investment transforms this post-industrial port area into a welcoming urban space. The completed components of this mixed-use development include modern workspaces, over 120 stylishly finished apartments, a Courtyard by Marriott hotel, a LUX MED medical and dental center, and ground-floor retail. The waterfront location is among the most attractive addresses for residents, tourists, and businesses alike.

Uni-logistics will soon move its headquarters to an office building in Waterfront’s first phase. The comprehensive logistics operator, active since 2007, will occupy the entire 8th floor covering 1,115 m2. The company builds its market position on the versatility of solutions across sea, air, rail, and road transport. As a team of specialists in complex assignments, Uni-logistics efficiently handles the transportation of non-standard and oversized cargo, supported by its own customs agency and warehousing facilities. The relocation to a new headquarters marks a strategic stage in the company’s development, reflecting its dynamic growth and commitment to operational excellence.

Gdynia is a city built on courage and modernity, and these same values have been driving Uni-logistics since 2007. Choosing the Waterfront complex as our new headquarters was no coincidence. We are proud of our roots and could not imagine a better place for the next stage of our development than the very heart of our city. From this unique location, we will enjoy a full panorama of Gdynia – from the vibrant Kościuszko Square and the beautiful City Beach, through the downtown architecture, all the way to the port areas. This view reminds us every day of the diversity and global scale of our operations. We have chosen a place that truly reflects our spirit, combining a passion for logistics with the highest quality we deliver to our partners every day,” emphasises Rafał Drąg, President of the Management Board of Uni-logistics

"We are glad that another employer has chosen the workspace at Waterfront. The deal with Uni-logistics is further proof that Gdynia's city center provides favorable conditions for TSL industry. Located in the vibrant heart of Gdynia, the office overlooking the sea will provide attractive working conditions and access to multiple amenities within easy reach," says Marcin Faleńczyk, Senior Leasing Manager at Vastint Poland

Relocating headquarters after many years in a single location is always a decision that requires careful preparation, market analysis and a thorough understanding of the organisation’s needs and its long-term business objectives. The modern space leased by Uni-logistics at the Waterfront project will undoubtedly provide the team with a comfortable working environment and create conditions for the organisation’s further growth. We are pleased to have supported the tenant at every stage of the process – from selecting the optimal location to negotiating lease terms – and to have been part of this transition,” adds Agnieszka Grzywaczewska, Associate Director at Colliers

Waterfront was designed with sustainability in mind, and the high quality of its energy-efficient solutions has been confirmed by LEED certification. A central walkway, courtyards, and green spaces surround the buildings. Open spaces, paths, and green squares are characterized by their human scale, creating a welcoming atmosphere. Vastint planted carefully selected coastal trees and shrub, as well as perennials and grasses typical of the dunes. Development’s greenery evokes the maritime landscape, while its edge marks the historic line of the former waterfront. Baltic beaches inspired the undulating shape and the rising and falling rhythm of the wooden benches, ramps, and stairs.

The final phase of Waterfront will complement the surrounding area with more places for working and living. Two hotels with a conference center and spa will increase the city's accommodation offer, while a new cinema and cultural pavilion will attract visitors with a rich artistic repertoire.

The first phase of this mixed-use development was designed by Fort Targowski, and the subsequent two phases are the work of the renowned JEMS Architekci studio. Simple shapes, arcades, repetitive rhythms, and respect for the neighborhood's scale subtly reference Gdynia's modernist architecture.
