Boutique coworking with waterfront views of Gdynia
Waterfront's mixed-use offer will be complemented by a premium serviced office concept addressing the needs of companies seeking flexible working conditions, as the project secures this year’s largest office lease transaction in Gdynia. The Shire – Beyond Coworking will join the tenants of Vastint's development in Gdynia this September. The brand's first location in Tricity will occupy more than 1,800 m² of space on the 3rd and 4th floors at 13A Waszyngtona Street.
Waterfront is a diverse quarter in the seaside part of Gdynia. Vastint's investment transforms the post-industrial port area into a welcoming urban space. Its waterfront location is among the most attractive addresses for residents, tourists, and businesses alike. Apart from workspaces, Waterfront also offers apartments, a hotel, a medical and dental center, and ground-floor retail.
In September Waterfront’s offer will expand with premium coworking spaces. The Shire – Beyond Coworking will move into the office building located at 13A Waszyngtona Street. The company offers boutique offices that are suitable for both established businesses and smaller companies seeking a high standard of service. Compared to traditional coworking spaces, The Shire stands out with its high-quality finishes, private offices from 2 workstations and attractive membership conditions available within a 1-month contract. The Shire clients in Waterfront will benefit from access to comfortable common areas, meeting areas and two rooftop terraces.
"The Shire – Beyond Coworking brand is the first to introduce the nationwide concept of premium serviced offices to Gdynia. We are not your typical coworking space – our spaces are distinguished by their boutique character, the highest quality interiors and attention to detail. In the Waterfront we will create the largest serviced office of this class in the city, located near the seaside and marina, in the very center of Gdynia. The top two floors will feature a space with two terraces, which will form an integral part of the workspace. We are confident that this will be one of The Shire's most unique locations in Poland," comments Rafal Pisklewicz, Managing Partner at The Shire – Beyond Coworking.
"We are delighted that The Shire has chosen Waterfront as its first location in the Tricity. It's a brand that fits well with the character of our Waterfront project. Its presence expands our mixed-use offer with coworking spaces and responds to the growing interest in workspaces that combine flexibility, high standards, and a convenient location. We believe that The Shire's new space will be an attractive proposition for companies seeking comfortable, well-designed offices in the center of Gdynia," adds Marek Ulanecki, Senior Leasing Manager at Vastint Poland.
"I am glad to have supported The Shire - Beyond Coworking in their long-term brand growth. The deal required a perfect match with the building, not just in technical terms, but also to provide workspace meeting high standards of a premium brand. Waterfront is a location that offers significant business potential, unique exposure and an environment for building a user experience. The Shire - Beyond Coworking's entry confirms the growing importance of the TriCity region as a market for flexible, premium office space. Gdynia, thanks to its location and the quality of new developments, is becoming a natural destination for companies seeking comfortable yet flexible offices," adds Mateusz Strzelecki, Partner / Head of Tenant Representation at Walter Herz.
Waterfront was designed by renowned JEMS Architekci with sustainability in mind, and the high quality of its energy-efficient solutions has been confirmed by LEED certification. Simple shapes, arcades, repetitive rhythms, and respect for the neighborhood's scale subtly reference Gdynia's modernist architecture. A central walkway, courtyards, and green spaces surround the buildings. Open spaces, paths, and green squares are characterized by their human scale, creating a welcoming atmosphere. Vastint planted carefully selected coastal trees and shrub, as well as perennials and grasses typical of the dunes. Development’s greenery evokes the maritime landscape, while its edge marks the historic line of the former waterfront.
