Waterfront office buildings in Gdynia awarded WiredScore Platinum certification
The office buildings of the second phase of the Waterfront project in Gdynia have been awarded WiredScore Platinum – the highest level in the international digital connectivity certification system. The Waterfront II office buildings are the only WiredScore certified projects in Gdynia and the second in the entire Tri-City area.
The second phase of Waterfront, designed by JEMS Architekci and developed by Vastint Poland, comprises two modern office buildings with a total leasable area of 16,000 m2, as well as two residential buildings offering more than 120 apartments and retail units on the ground floor. It is these new office buildings that have received WiredScore Platinum certification, confirming the highest standard of digital infrastructure. The WiredScore certification process evaluates, among other factors, the resilience and diversity of telecommunications infrastructure, the quality of internet access, readiness for new technologies, and user comfort. The result demonstrates that Waterfront in Gdynia provides reliable connectivity and is prepared for the dynamic development of digital solutions in the future.

Waterfront is situated in a unique location, right next to Kościuszko Square and the President’s Basin, on a site of more than four hectares that had remained unused for years. The investment has revitalized this part of the city, combining modern architecture with Gdynia’s modernist heritage. The first stage of the project, completed in 2015, included an 11-storey office building with 10,000 m2, which houses, among others, the headquarters of PKO BP, as well as the Courtyard by Marriott hotel. The second stage added further office and residential spaces, providing an impulse for the continued revitalization of this part of downtown Gdynia. The next phase of the project foresees the construction of additional office buildings, hotels, a cultural pavilion, and new public spaces, which will transform the complex into a vibrant city center.
