Element Hotel Wrocław Achieves LEED Gold Certification
Vastint Poland has completed the environmental certification process for the Element Hotel in Wrocław, part of the B10 complex. The building earned 74 points, qualifying it for the prestigious LEED Gold certification level.
Achieving LEED Gold certification is a recognition of the hotel’s commitment to sustainable development and environmental protection. LEED certification is a global standard that evaluates buildings based on energy efficiency, CO2 emission reductions, and water usage optimization. The Gold level achievement confirms that the hotel meets ambitious standards in sustainable architecture, guest comfort, and minimizing its impact on the ecosystem.
"During the hotel’s development, our priority was to meet the highest standards of sustainability. We made every effort to use resources efficiently, opting for eco-friendly materials wherever possible. The systems we implemented allow the hotel to continuously monitor devices during its operational phase, ensuring optimal energy efficiency. Additionally, the high level of thermal insulation and advanced ventilation significantly reduce the energy needed for space heating and cooling. Thanks to these and other solutions, we managed to reduce the building’s carbon footprint," said David Pettersson, Senior Project Manager at Vastint Poland.
Managed by Hotel Co51, a company under the Vastint Group, Element by Westin is the second hotel of this brand in Europe and the first long-stay hotel in Poland with a global loyalty program. The hotel also features the "Salon" restaurant, which serves dishes made from local ingredients.
