The K2 office building welcomes its first tenant
Vastint Poland has signed an agreement with C.Hartwig Gdynia S.A., a leading freight forwarder operating on the domestic and international markets. The tenant has leased 2,562 m2 in the newly built K2 office building on Kielecka Street in Gdynia.
The company plans to open the headquarters in the new location, where its local offices will be consolidated. The tenant was represented in the negotiations by the consulting agency JLL.
"The K2 office building, located near Wzgórze św. Maksymiliana (the Hill of St. Maksymilian) node is the newest office investment in Gdynia. A convenient location right next to the SKM station, proximity to the centre and, therefore, services and shopping centres are just some of the advantages of this spot. The employees will surely appreciate the convenient location of their new headquarters as well as the high standard of the building itself. From the northern corners on the upper floors of the building, one can admire the panorama of Gdynia and the view of the Bay of Gdansk,” said Maciej Kandybowicz, Leasing Manager, Vastint Poland.

The six-storey H-shaped building offers office tenants over 11,000 m2 of usable space with a comfortable ground floor lobby and a two-storey garage with 136 parking spaces and infrastructure for cyclists. Gdynia's modernism was the inspiration for the architecture of
the office building designed by APA Wojciechowski. The shape of the regularly spaced on the façade white vertical panels is a reference to sails and ship architecture present in Gdynia in the 1930s. Completion of construction work and commissioning of the office building is scheduled for the second quarter of this year.
